Thomson's Travels is a travel website written to chronicle the travels of Simon and Julia Thomson whilst we raise money for the charity, Forest Holme. We are a married couple in our late 50's who have been caravanning for over 20 years, a week here, a month there, but always with a home to retreat to during the winter. We have recently taken the plunge and, acting on years of discussion, a fair amount of planning and shed loads of trepidation, we finally sold our house at the end of October 2014 and are currently visiting all those places we have often talked about and wished to explore....
